Drawing from traditional games and rules, we designed this naval strategy game to be simple to learn and enjoyable to play and last a lifetime. A two to four player game, this board game uses a modular board system to create a unique gameplay experience every time. Play with family and friends!
Each player starts out with a board and 10 pieces in which to take over the world and rule the high seas. The main objective of the game is to capture all of your opponent's pieces through strategy. The boards are placed at the beginning of the game in any configuration that connects them and the grid lines. Each board has a side with islands and a side with open ocean, each with advantages and disadvantages strategically. After placing your pieces, you move carefully to conquer your opponents by flanking them one at a time. Conquer islands to help defeat your opponents. Create alliances and break them to take your opponents ships!
Designed to be a sort of naval chess, the main focus of the game is to be a simple strategy game that is quick to learn how to play, but provides for hours of entertainment. Depending on the skills of the players, games can range from 30 minutes to over an hour.
This game comes with four boards, four sets of pieces with 10 pieces each, bags for each set of pieces, and a bag for the entire game. It also comes with a complete set of rules. This game contains small pieces, and is not recommended to be used by small children.
Sailor's Warning can theoretically be played with as many players as possible if game boards are combined (although we recommend the maximum to be 8 players). We do plan on creating expansion packs with more boards and pieces to come!

Warning: Wooden items including wooden swords, wands, and other items can be dangerous if used improperly. Weapons should be used under the supervision of a trained martial artist. Broken items should never be used in practice or play, and should be replaced immediately as broken items can cause severe injury.

We have had no reported major injuries with our wooden weapons or wands, and we take extra precautions to insure that our products are designed in such a way to prevent injury. Bruising has occurred when products were used improperly, but larger injuries are possible since the wood swords and wands can be easily misused. Adult supervision is highly recommended at all times as well as supervision with a martial artist when items are used for contact sport or play. But if used properly, our products are very safe, and very fun. :)
Yes, to the very best of our knowledge. We use 100% wood of different kinds for our wands. For example, if we say the wand is an Oak wand, it is made from Oak wood. Our wooden swords are made from pine unless otherwise specified.
We were having some issues with inconsistent results while using our Walnut Stain recently, so we have made the decision to no longer keep Walnut Stain as a standard option for our displays. If you want a walnut stained display, please contact us and we will set it up as a custom order for the same price as our other displays, that way we can monitor the quality more directly and give you the best quality product available. We will also be releasing limited quantities of displays made out of Walnut wood (not stained) here shortly, so keep an eye out for that!
Yes! We make custom size displays all the time! You actually help us out quite a bit by letting us know what's missing from or display options. We usually charge the same price for custom displays as all of our standard options. Be sure to check all of our different variations before asking, as we have quite a few, but we are more than happy to help!
Nothing is wrong with your computer or Etsy- what typically is happening is we are almost sold out of the color option you wanted. We do try to keep up with demand, but other responsibilities sometimes take precedent. We will typically have other displays of the same type but a different color in stock, and is why there is a discrepancy. If you run into this issue, please contact us with what size and color of display you needed, and we will prioritize making those as soon as we can.
